Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of VisualBio. They are provided as a starting template and should be reviewed by legal counsel before launch. By creating an account you agree to these Terms.

Your account

You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. You must be able to form a binding contract to use the service.

Your content

You retain ownership of the content you add. You grant us the limited license needed to host and display it according to the visibility settings you choose. You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to any photos, files, or text you upload, and that your content does not violate the law or others' rights.

Subscriptions & billing

Premium plans are billed through Stripe on the cadence shown at checkout ($5/month or $15/year). You can manage or cancel your subscription, or downgrade to the free plan, from your account settings. Downgrading keeps your data but hides premium-only views until you upgrade again.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the service — including attempting to disrupt it, infringing others' rights, or uploading unlawful content. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Disclaimers & liability

The service is provided “as is” without warranties. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited. Keep your own backups (you can export your data at any time).

Changes

We may update these Terms; material changes will be reflected by the date above.
