This Privacy Policy explains what information VisualBio (“we”, “us”) collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It is provided as a starting template and should be reviewed by legal counsel before launch.
Information we collect
- Account data: your email address and authentication details, handled by our authentication provider (Supabase).
- Profile & timeline content: the username, profile details, events, descriptions, locations, photos, and files you choose to add.
- Billing data: if you subscribe, payments are processed by Stripe. We store a customer/subscription identifier and status — never your card number.
- Usage data: basic technical logs needed to operate and secure the service.
How we use information
We use your information to provide the service, render your public timeline at the URLs you choose, process subscriptions, and keep the service secure. Content you mark public is visible to anyone with the link; unlisted views are excluded from search indexing.
Sharing
We share data only with the processors that run the service (e.g. Supabase for hosting and storage, Stripe for payments) and as required by law. We do not sell your personal information.
Your choices & rights
You can edit or remove your content at any time, export your events as a CSV file from your dashboard, downgrade your plan, or permanently delete your account and all associated data from the account settings page. Deletion is irreversible.
